Hello everyone!

As the title says, I am new to the infiniti world and came across this forum to ask for help. I am looking to buy an g35 sedan, probably the 2004 model. Im looking at some cars with mileages around the 70k-90k.

How long can I expect this car to last if maintained well?
Any information about common issues/problems with this specific car?
Any info would be great, really would appreciate it!

 

Do a search for "common g35 issues" in this forum. This kind of question has been asked numerous times in the past. Believe me, you will get the answers you need if you utilize the search feature.

 

I've got 92k on my 03 sedan AT. Biggest problems would be the brakes, I just had to get new rotors/pads/shims at 90k. It's actually pathetic how many times I've had to replace pads on the car and I'm not the original owner. Other than that, no transmission/engine problems at all. Oh, and one topic that always comes up, compression rods/bushings WILL fail.

 

I realize this'll come off very newb, but what the heck are you referring to when you say "compression rods/bushings WILL fail"?
