Got my 06 on December 2006. We still love it. The power still amazes me. I guess coming from a 2.5 altima will do that. Friends who ride in the back always are shocked how smooth and comfortable the ride is for them. I have not had any problems I got the car used from the dealership with 19k now at 57k.

I am very pleased with my 04 Sedan. Bought a solid car for a great price too. It reminds me of a more refined version of the 95-03 Nissan Maximas.

Another G35 lover

I've just got mine. I am a poor guy but I managed to pull out a G35 2004 at 154 000 km. The car is in shape, never got accident and the previous owner did all the maintenance at the dealership (I checked ) Well, before this car, I lost interest for driving for years. Now the feeling is back. I almost want to wake up in the morning going to work just for the ride

The car is an awesome balance of power, comfort and handling. Of course, the coupe is nice but I think sedan has its advantages.

I drove A6 , Lexus ES 300 (not my cars) but this car tops them. Maybe not in luxury but...who cares...I am not rich anyways.

I will keep this car for years...for sure.

I just got an 05 6mt and I also think it is faster than I expected. Especially considering that before I found my G I was looking at getting a Mercedes 230 Kompresser....talk about slow......

This is true. I had a new 95 Maxima, which I liked. The G35 has the same basic engine -- with an extra 100 hp! And not much heavier.

This is my wife's car. I hardly drive it and was thinking about trading it in for a small SUV, maybe a Tiguan or Forester, which I test-drove this week-end. Then I drove the G35 tonight and thought, No, this is an outstanding vehicle. We'll keep it. Very tight and responsive at 65K miles. The Z springs really helped the handling (excellent now, even compared to my DD 04 M3).

I have to say I am very impressed as well with my 06 x, I have had my g for just over 2 weeks. I was blown away on my initial test drive when I had a salesman with me so I was not driving aggressive at all, my wife loved everything about the next one we test drove later that night, and when I drove the 2nd one I was able to get on it a little more, no manumatic shifts or any super high shifts, but a good amount of pickup.

Just got to push it a little last Friday with some manumatic shifts, man it purrs when you open it up. I was very impressed with it, being I came from an 03 cavalier coupe... I am excited to begin doing some tasteful mods and hope they go over well here, will include blue leds inside as a few others have done, quad projector setup, and then possibly rims and tires next spring/summer.

I feel like a kitty with catnip. Probably purring right about now. This sums me up pretty well. And the 6MT awakens the demon in me....watch out, I have a 6MT and I KNOW HOW TO USE IT! (unless you have a turbo, then I'll just check out your taillights)

I take the long way to work/home, just to drive it a little longer. Good thing gas has gone down!

My 06 was over $40k just slightly... custom ordered it new with pretty much every option. I felt like I got a good price though. Between MSRP and Invoice and since it was custom order I couldn't wiggle too much.

Had 4 miles on it when it came off the truck, probably just the mileage from the test track in Japan right outside the factory.

Any other original owners on here enjoying the ride? I knew I wanted G around 03, saved up for a few years and when I knew the 06 would be the last year of the first gen I ordered one. No plans to get rid of it, I'd like to have it for a long time.
