Low beams flashing with high beams

I've noticed that when all the headlights are off and you flash the high beams that the HID low beams flash as well. From what I've read about HID bulbs ( that you shouldn't turn them on and off in rapid succession ) this can't be good. Is this something the dealer can reprogram ?

Re: Low beams flashing with high beams

You have made a correct observation, but unfortunately there is no "reprogramming" option. The only way to avoid flashing the HIDs is to turn on the low beams, then flash. This way, only the tungsten high beams will flash.
