I'm thinking of selling my 2003 G35 sedan. Its black with black interior (titanium dash). Has the sports suspension with rear spoiler. The interior is perfect, as I am basically the only one in the car. It has approx 91K highway miles. I know its high, but I drive 70 miles roundtrip 6 days a week. Was wondering what a good price would be? Thinking about $12,500? The dealer said the G35 mold was broken after 2003. 2004 to present was built differently, not to the calibur of the '03. Now I don't know if that is all BS but I just want to know what is a fair price.

 

Leather? heated seats? moonroof? automatic?

if yes to all of the above, I'd guess that trade-in might be $8k-$9k? did the dealer give you a number?

So $12,500 can be an OK starting point, but be prepared to take less, of course.

 

Well first of all, are you planning to sell privately or at a dealer? If the former, you will definitely get more money out of the sale as the dealer will give you some crazy BS lowball offer for the car. I would start a little over whatever KBB shows for a private party sale. With the given economy I would be be prepared to go a bit under.
