squealing and grinding

Whenever i brake i can hear a squealing sound from underneath my car. my friend also told me that their is a grinding sound that is coming from on of the rotors in the back. i have around 63k on my car. do you guys think its time to get new rotors and brakes. what type of blanks would you suggest. i dont wanna go into drilled/ slotted rotors yet. for brakes im looking into hawk hps? suggestions are welcome

For rotors, a set of OEMs or Brembo blanks would be the way to go. The Brembo rotors can be found on Tire Rack. For pads, there are many choices out there, and they vary by brake dust, initial brake bite, material, etc. Do some research in the Brakes/Suspension sub-forum and you should find some answers there.

i wouldn't suggest getting the hawk hps because i have those paired with rotora rotors and they do not gripe at all. if you want to upgrade you can get either stoptech stage 1 or stage 2. look up R&D factory they have some good deals on those. and i plan to pick up stage 1 soon since my rears are going out soon.
