Car Is Jerking!!!!!!

My 2004 GSedan 6MT jerk/bucks when I get off the gas pedal after speeding up a little. My clutch isn't slipping and the SES is off. I also feel a slight vibration in the gas pedal but don't know if it's related.

If I'm going about 40mph and then let go the gas, there would be a faint/slight jerk throughout the car and if I hit the gas right after, it would jerk a little bit more. For example, it happens around 3,000rpm, similar to say if you car was at 5,000rpm and you gas it and let go. That kind of "jerk" but not as violent. [THANKS joedaddy1]

Any chance you know what it is?

I notice it in 3/4/5 the most because I am usually up to a little speed. Although I'm pretty sure it happens in every gear.

No, it's more abrupt than that, I know what a manual shift car does. This is a quick, slight jerk back and fourth a couple times.

While stopped at street lights (in neutral, no brake) I can feel a rough idle and a shaking car. I don't know if that is connected or if all G35s do that.

There is a TSB for this. It is a throttle body issue.

To Mike, I have the same issue and I have an 06 AUTO. Unfortunately I can't get warranty work out here in JDM land

This is the TSB # for the 05-06 models.

EDIT:
Apparently the TSB only addresses AUTO's. The TSB says to Replace the transmission valve body (control valve assembly).

hey, do you have a rattling noise in low rpms?
I think I have a timing chain tensioner issue and MAYBE that is causing this "slack" in accelerating and decelerating.

usually 2nd/3rd/4th gear..
when you are in 1.5k~2k rpm.. when you have the gas pressed.. there's a faint chain dragging/rattling noise from the engine/firewall area.

Trying to figure out if it's the heat shield from the CAT, the timing belt tensioner, or something else.

Also, how many miles are on your car and did you ever change the drive belts?

I was thinking about tightening my belts. My G has 88k miles on it and I bought it earlier this year in great shape. I'll try to notice that noise...

I think my CP -> AC belt is way too loose and pretty old. Might try changing that.
