Removing the two strips from the reverse light

Does anyone know how to possible remove the two red strips in the middle on the 03-04 reverse lights?

It's really easy. I did it in 2 minutes when I was bored one day. I just reached in there with some needle nose pliers and pulled them out

the 05/06 tails and 03/04 reverse setup looks weird. Just get a set of the 05/06 reverse. It looks much cleaner and better. Especially now that you got a pair of the 05/06 tails
