What is the "Card Holder" for?

Any ideas what the "Card Holder" thingy above the drivers head on the left is supposed to do/for? Looked in the manual and doesn't give a clue. Thanks.

You can put your parking lot ticket in there so you don't lose it or forget where you put it. It's pretty invisible from the outside unless someone is looking hard. Personally, I think the card holder's best use is being ripped out and replaced by an o-ship! handle.

I put my office building garage entry card in it. Use it for anything like that...

When I had one of those it was too fat and didn't fit. It did, however, fit in the passenger-side card holder slot, found under the passenger sun visor.

It is a "cigar" holder. : )

They called it a "card" holder because of pressure from the powerful Anti-Tobacco Lobby.

Re: What is the "Card Holder" for?

I was trying to be somewhat sarcastic in a humourous way, because the answer seemed pretty obvious to me. If it is labeled "Card Holder" then it is probably meant to "Hold Cards" eh? Parking deck card or pass, business cards, get-well cards, or the Ace of Spades - you decide! ; )
Edited by GeeSpot on 05/25/04 09:09 AM.
