Can't remove wheel studs. Help

i'm putting in spacers for my front wheels and I'm having problems with removing the studs. I've tried using a rubber mallet but it's not budging. Is there some special way to hit it with the rubber mallet? what else can i try?

You can get a really large drill bit and just drill them out.

I finally got it out...put some muscle into it and out it went. putting the new studs is easy but I had to stopp for the night. The impact wrench was too loud and I didn't want to keep the neighbors up.

What spacers are you using? Ichiba? If you not reusing the stock studs i would just hit them with a hammer, or use some softner between the hammer and stud. When I did mine I used a little trick, if you knock them all out you can use a ratchet and stick a screwdriver in one of the holes to keep it from rotating. You can get 4 of 5 that way and use the air gun for the last one

Hey anybody home? Does the hub/bearing have to come off the car to get to those studs and beat them out of the hub? Can you knock them out while the hub is still on the car? Do you have to worry about bending it and knocking runout into the hub?

You can do them with the bearing assembly on the car. I wouldn't worry about bending it, just make sure you hit it square and you shouldn't have an issue.

Yeah he's correct. Hit the stud dead in the middle with a good hammer they come right off. I just did a few on my car that i think was going to strip out.. Good luck
