The Stillen one has a hideous cowl that belongs on a Camaro. It's only purpose is to house their supercharger. I'm not a big fan of carbon fiber but at least the VIS one looks tasteful.

^^ lol you are right, the car has original hood, because their carbon fiber hood doesnt have the two middle lanes like original.

not saying that we should not have it, the stillen one runs in the $900s usually. this at $700 something is worth considering, but history shows that fitment, although companies claim great fitment, the reality is that it is not and you spend most of your $$$ on labor costs for the shop trying to make it flush and fit nice.

Our hoods are light enough already. If it is for aesthetics than carry on.

Exactly what I was going to say. Our hoods are aluminium, so pretty light as is. If you want to make a difference weight wise, either go on a diet, or have a huge **** before you drive. OR just drive on half a tank, that's a huge weight saving. To be honest most of these carbon fiber bits and bobs are merely for aesthetics, and have no 'real' weight save over stock, especially considering how much crap people have in their cars. Your best bet for 'performance' gains would be to get decent pads, and fluid, (unless you are drag racing, and corners are scary!)
