Couple questions

1) It is my understanding, that turbo or supercharger will void the warranty on the engine. Am I correct?
2) How much more wear / tear does a turbo or supercharger introduce?

Re: Couple questions

It's a gray area.

No single upgrade automatically voids your warranty. Modifications you make only void your warranty if the dealer determines that the modification caused the damage. With a forced induction system, it becomes a scapegoat for the dealer to blame any engine problems on. It could become a hassle to get them to do warranty work on the engine.

Re: Couple questions

The wear and tear question depends on you, the components used, and the installation...If you drive hard and aggressively you can expect more wear, and if you drive hard for extended periods of time frequently, even more wear...If the installation is quality and the tuning is correct that helps big time, and you need to maintain the car and the forced induction system or expect failure
