Question Too late for Turbo????

Hey guys,

so after long thought and many hours spent on Youtube watching amazing G vids, I have decided that I would like to go FI. Turbo baby!

One problem. Im not sure if its a good idea at this point to put a turbo on a car with 60K miles. I put about 6k miles on it annually, so its not climbing like crazy, and I know these Gs can run awhile. The car itself is in almost perfect shape, doesnt seem like its aged a day.

Im lookin at the Turbonetics single ball bearing turbo kit. like the price and what ive heard and seen its pretty BA.

so i need some opinions, too late? or wtf go for it?

look around in the FI section here and at my350z.com there is lot of info and i would think you'd be ok as long as you keep the boost low but i bet once you go FI youll be putting more than 6K a year jejeje

By the time you get a good kit, pay for install and have it tuned you won't be too far from spending 10k.

It's not the miles because I would still FI mine at 100k. The economy is ****ed up.

I'm sorry but what does the economy have to do with this guy getting a turbo? I doubt he's taking out his life savings or putting his house as collateral to install a turbo lol

I boosted my car for the first time with ~40k miles and went another 40k before building the motor. It was still running perfectly and the only reason I built it was that I was going for more power.

Be safe but boost it ASAP! As for the TN kit, I would look at the powerlab kit.
