Tails

Well after waiting for the dealership to replace my power seat in the g35, I finally took delivery yesterday. I was wondering what changes have been made to the tail lights with the 05 and newer models. And depending on your answers, I may have more questions lol. Thanks.

05-06 are two LED circles similar to the 07+ tails. And yes the 03-04 and 05-06 tails are swappable.

Alright thanks alot. So with that answer im now 90 percent sure that the original owner had them replaced and went with the single dotted LEDS rather than the two circular lights. Weird. But your saying i can swap them back for the circular LEDS right?

Yeah its an 05 with 03-04 tail lights. The vehicle was purchased from a dealership with a clean car fax history report and zero liens. I just have no possible clue why he would want to change them.

I changed mine. I like the circles way better. Seems like accord, civic, 4-runner and others all have the grid LEDs these days.

You should "try" to go back to the spot where you bought the car, let them know you'r not happy about the taillight issue, even though they'll tell you that you saw it when you bought it, it's worth a try, and I would be curious to find out what exactly happened....too many stories with these dealership, just because carfax is clean, doesn't mean the car is clean
