Advice on used 2005 G35X w/100,000km's
I having been looking at a used Infiniti G35X sedan with about 100,000km on it. What problems should I be worrying about in the 100,000-200,000km range? Are there any big maintenance expenses that need to be performed?
Thanks,
V

100km is about 60,000 miles right...
i wouldn't say its major maintence, i dont think there is anything major about the maintence, some packages can cost up to $2k but thats all fluids flushed. Do what you can at home. all trans fluids, brake, Power steering,
plugs CAN be looked at, i think OE plugs are 100k plugs but w/e your option. i dont believe in that crap. air filters, cabin filters, a lot of simple stuff that is listed in the DIY.

used 2005 G35x
i just purchased a used 2005 G35x sedan back in August 2008. The car had 52k miles on it. They key item that sold me on the car was that they certified the car up to 6 years/100k miles at no extra charge to me.
I took the car in today to get an oil/filter change. This was done at no charge to me (first oil/filter change is free on certified cars). They went through their 35-point inspection, and only found the drive belt to be slightly cracked. I asked if I could wait until my 60k mile service to fix it, and they said that the car would be fine until then.
So I would definitely recommend to get the car certified (especially if it is at their cost)
