steering is tight on my 05 x sedan. infiniti designs them this way in order to give you more control over the car/road. this is certainly something that you should get used as compared to other cars.

think of it this way, although you are going fast, tight steering make everything around you seem like slow motion, thus enabling you to drive more "swiftly" and accruately.

^ jmcohen23 is right about the "tight" feeling on the steering in the G35. Previously I came from a Lexus ES300 which is FWD and had super smooth steering (very similar to the LS class). The Lexus GS does have a slightly stiffer feel in the steering (being that it's in a luxury sport class) but still quite smooth in general. The Infiniti G35 definitely has more of a sporty characteristic than luxury, maybe that's why it has more stiffness in its steering than other luxury sport models in other brands.

thanks for all your inputs guys..im trying to find a car to compare the handling , steering and other aspects to . Then Ill compile a list and take it to the dealer to see if he honors his word ( he had assured that he will fix any issues i find..i know kinda dumb that i didnt get it in writing but this guy is only one of 2 major infiniti dealerships in Denver and so I dindt have much of a choice for the car I wanted..so ..)
And oh..everything I read on this site about the Bose is absolutely true..its horrendous..There seems to be no bass coming out of the woofer at all !
And the stock RS-A's are crappy in the snow here.

My steering is tighter than others cars I've driven but I love how it feels. Lends to the sporty feel and allows for minute adjustments versus having the wheel swing left to right all ***** nilly. If you didnt have power steering then you'd be throwing your entire weight into the wheel when at a complete stop. I dont think this is the case. I'm not a fan of heavily boosted steering, but you may be used to something different.

The stock woofer actually produces some pretty decent low's. It definitely pushes higher levels of bass than other factory systems I've heard. In fact, many people on these forums believe that the bass overpowers the mid's/high's.

you might be right about the bose..
Anyways, whatever adjustments these Infiniti techs did to "fix" the steering seems to have messed it up..car now pulls to the left at highway speeds and it takes lots of effort to take a right turn at high speeds..
I think im gonna take it to another dealership as suggested ..see if they find anything and come back to these so called "master techs" at the original dealership
The cars got almost 19k and still the stock Eagle RS-As on .do you guys think tire tread might have anything to do with tight steering/ pulls ?

It can, depends on the level of wear. I've read the RS-A's wear at about 20-25K miles.

Also, the car will follow the crown of the road, so if you are in the left lane at highway speeds, it will pull to the left.
