the newest you can have is 6.7 and will work with any infiniti map disks. You cannot use the 07 dvd.

I would ask the dealership to provide it for you as they are not cheap. Mine didn't have one in it but they got one for me before I bought it. I have 6.6 though since I bought my car in August and the update was released on October.

I wonder how many changes have been made from 7.2 to 7.4 to justify spending $190

I know, I am wondering the same from 6.6 to 6.7. I would hate to spend $190 on it to have it be pretty much the same.

you can ask, but my dealership balked. they claimed that the one I already had was fine, and getting an updated DVD would cost $300.

if you live in an area that does not have any new roads or new developments then its really not worth it. If you search and use POIs often then it may be worth it to get, becuase they add over 5 million POIs to every disk. I am running 6.5 and havent had any issues except for a 10 mile tollway extension that was built last year, its funny watching the navigation freak out as you drive over an invisible road.

not yet, I cant justify paying 200 for an update. I've done it to the 6.6.

I've never paid more than $40 for my updates.

By my house they moved the road and made it wider but it does not recognize it usually. There have been 2 occasions where I have actually been on the road and it was correct, but I have no idea what happened and why it suddenly saw it then. That was a few months ago now and it hasn't happened since.
