just purchased 06 g35 and i can't seem to find the tools. I found the jack in the left hidden compartment but the rest of tools are MIA. Am I looking at the wrong place? Any ideas?

Mine were in a little bag in the spare tire area underneath the mat, carpet and cardboard stuff.

eh.. a lot of stuff was missing off my car when i bought it, actually EVERYTHING was missing and i bought it from infiniti dealership.

Missing owners manual, first aid kit, the WHOLE spare tire. seat belt caps in the rear deck.

so car i've made them get me a owners manual out of another car, and a donut, waiting on a full size spare to come in so i can swap it, i have the caps now as well. I dont know how i'm going to get a first aid kit tho... nor do i care. I dont have the tools either but i have the jack.

I'm missing the painted cap that covers the hole in the front bumper under the lisence plate.

I run a front plate, but i usually take it off in the summer when i go to shows and would like to get that plate.

Anyone know how much a dealer would want for one...and does it come painted?

To the OP: If the tire changing tools are not in the trunk or spare tire area, then you can safely say it's missing from your car and that the previous owner probably has it in his/her possession. Yeah it's not much help when you just have the jack but no lug nut wrench or hook to open/close the jack.

Did you buy the car from a Nissan/Infiniti dealer? If so, go back there and see if they can give you the tire changing tools at no charge (since it's essential in all cars). If they won't, I'd check out Ebay for the tools you need.

my used car did not come with a manual. I e-mailed and called Infiniti headquarters asking for one, each time they said it is being sent. However, I have to receive it (4 months later). I downloaded the manual online here: http://www.infiniti-techinfo.com/find.aspx?dept_id=10

the rear child seat belt caps were missing. the spare is there. I'll check for the first aid kit and tool set.

06 g sedan doesn't have the tools in a lil tool bag like the 03-04

they are in a foam holder right under the carpet in the trunk area. Its laid between the spare tire well and the carpet. It's a big foam holder piece, you cant miss it.

That sounds better than just a bag sitting back there.

Hmm...my '06 has the bag...but I don't think it was orginally from my car.

I'll need to look in the trunk for where they are originally supposed to go, but as of right now, i have a bag which contains the tools stuffed next to my full size spare.

I just took my trunk apart in my '06. Definitely no cutouts in the foam or foam holder. Anyone got a pic?

I just have a tool bag
