RDS Radio Station Messages (2005 and newer models)
nope, DC101 doesnt suport it. 98rock does, 95.5, 92q, 93.1 and 104.3 do. not sure about the others cuz i dont listen to them, but it annoys me just the same with dc101 not doing it. Although i do immediately turn it off if i hear elliot in the morning. i dont need the rds working to tell me that joker is on.
I tuned into DC 101 the other day, and the message read, "Still Working". So I guess that they will be having the RDS soon.
Some stations are great with RDS in the sense that they display the name of the next song when the current song is about to end (102.7 Jack FM for example).
It's just nice to have to know what the name of the song is, especially when it's a new song/band.
anyhow, regarding the titles showing for CDs, I noticed that when I burn CD using iTunes, a box comes up asking me if I want to display the song title. I have that checked, and whenever my CDs play, the song title/track/album etc will appear (but will not scroll).
