I actually own my first car ever that I bought when I was 16. I named it, and i've owned it for 12 years now. Granted it's much different now and really more of a "weekend toy" for me.
I've owned other cars after it, but never bonded the same way. My last car I did like, but it was scary how easy it was to hand over the keys when i traded it in for my sedan. maybe that's because my G was so much nicer??
Anyway, still searching for a name for my G...only owned it 2 weeks.

I develop bonds with my cars. I did with my Trailblazer (it was so hard to sell ) and currently my G.
Idk if its just my first car or what, but my car really makes me feel better if im mad or somthing and go drive it. It is like it is there for me. Always makes me happy and i some times sit in parking lots and look at it and go "damn you look so sick"
I even hugged my car once. I love it when it sits in my garage looking at me. it is almost like it is smiling at me.
So does anyone else bond with their cars?
I know its not just me. My friend bonds with his 99 G20. But that car is damn near impossible not to bond with. Drove it for a day to get the windows tinted about 50miles away. Thing is so goofy it just made me laugh. Little gussied up sentra that is trying to be taken seriously even though its slow as fvck, it always responds like its trying its hardest.
So let me know so i dont feel wierd for loving a machine

I did have an "emotional" feeling when i decided im gonna let the car go. I think it is because it was my first car and i put my heart and sole in that thing. It always surprised people and to me it looked sick.
Sometimes when i go outsite and look at it, i remember all the fun times i had in it and i might have to take deep breath when I take it back to the dealer this weekend.

Janik, I also get attached to my cars, but maybe not that much. I do find myself giving my car second looks quite often just to admire the Gs great looks, and it does put a smile on my face when I am blasting down a fresh snow-covered twisty back road with my X .
Seriously though, I do think you need a girlfriend hooters
