hey guys

ive got a 350gt-8 ( 8 speed cvt) and some of you guys might know, the gearbox is toast.

At the moment, a new cvt gearbox to fit into my car would cost me aroudn 5k including fitment, so i was thinking, would it be easier to do a manual conversion?

the gearbox is really rare.. been trying to source some, and workshops can only source them back in Japan. One workshop however had 3 gt-8 gearboxes, but none would work on my car, supposubly my model changes specs every 6 months, and none of these worked...

How hard is the conversion? i browsed through the site and saw that it cost around 4k for the conversion.. but that was dated back in 2007..


Any help would be great.. i have been with out a car for 3-4 months now.. and its starting to make me angry
