yes theres an updated list two posts above yours ... the list was consistently updated and then some items were taken out including the aux input for 5.40 since it is an unsubstantiated claim...
bat overlays and drop using Z springs are on the list

The point to mine was my original air dam broke from from the previous owner smacking a curb or something. So I ripped the rest of it off and stuck that on. It looks better than stock and for those with aftermarket bumpers it adds protection to the bumper.

I'm not really sure visual changes are 'mods'... To me mods make you handle better, brake better, or go faster...

You guys are confused with what MOD stands for. MODIFICATION.

A mod is anything that is changed from the original. If it makes your car look better or worse, it's still a modification to the car.

Yes... Putting a sticker on a car, or an ironing board spoiler on is a 'mod', rather than a disaster. Maybe I am not party to the rice factor that seems to have taken over car modification, but ho hum. Stickers, lights, and tints will never, in my mind, be mods.

So projector retrofit isn't a mod? going from standard lights to HIDs?

I agree stickers aren't, they do absolutely nothing and don't really change the looks of the car in anyway.

Tint is debatable, metallic tint offers sun protection. Which is something good... and it's noticeable.

Nope... Personally, I don't thing projectors are a mod. They are purely aesthetic. Aesthetic to me is not a mod.

mod is anything that changes the car in any way. painting my grille black is a mod. getting rays lug nuts is a mod. tints are debatable but yes they are a mod.

think of it this way, if you had a car with anythign done to it that a dealership would notice when you turn it i for say a lease its a mod. no it doesnt add power, but its a modification

Yes.. Rays lug nuts! They truly are a fantastic addition to a car, both in aesthetics, AND performance! I agree they are 'modifications' they just aren't 'MODIFICATIONS'... Know what I mean?
