I have been doing some research and it seems like my spacer is just too big for most of the strut bars to fit. most of the bars will touch the hood liner. anyone got something that worked?

if it's just your hood liner, who cares? in most of my reading though, the spacer leaves no room for a sb... i'd guess your sol.

Because it may cause vibration and noise when contacting the hood/engine. My friend installed a TRD front strut bar on his IS300 and even when lined with felt it caused nasty vibration and noise from the contact it made with the engine.

There are people that have the Richie Bar with 5/8" spacer with no issues.
