Incentives on '04s

OK, now that I know there's no reason to wait for the '05s, when do you think we'll start seeing incentives on the '04s?

THERE IS A DEALER COUPON ON THE 2004 SEDANS NOW. THEY ARE LIMITED TO THE DEALER. THEY MAY OR MAY NOT USE IT. JUST FOR EXAMPLE I HAVE 40 COUPONS TOTAL, EACH DEALER IS DIFFERENT. THE COUPON IS $500 AND YOU CAN USE UP TO 2 PER CUST. FOR A TOTAL OF $1000. THATS WHY I JUST GOT MY SEDAN AND NOT SOONER. I HOPE THIS HELPS. SOME DEALERS ARE USING IT FOR ADDITIONAL PROFIT BECAUSE THE PUBLIC DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT IT. BUT NOW YOU DO.

TWBLG35SDN, thanks for the information. Looks like I'm off to the dealer this weekend.

I would suggest that you do not mention the coupon discount when you approach the dealer. Go about with the haggling when you got the price you want, then you bring up the discount conpon. Otherwise, if you bring it up front, then you are not going to get much discount besides the $500. Go the the dealer at the end of the month and you will get a much better deal due the quotas they have to meet. I got mine last month at $100 over dealer's invoice.

You should be able to get excellent prices right now on the G35 sedans. I just picked up my G35 sedan/5at/leather/premium for $4k below MSRP. That's $30,150 (including trunk mat) before taxes, ect. and just under $33k out the door. I got on a NorCal Infiniti dealer's monthly specials mailing list by requesting a price quote. 6 months ago, they were only at $3,200. Right now, you should be able to get them for invoice (+/- $500). Unless, of course, you're looking for a coupe.

At $4k off, I couldn't put off the purchase any longer, so I'm now a happy 4-door Skyline owner.

Infiniti of Pleasanton. If you request a price quote, they'll put you on their mailer. The $4,000 off was only for 12 days and was limited to all Sedans with Auto (non-Navi, non-AWD). They keep a pretty good stock and have more in a warehouse nearby (20-30 sedans in total?). Most times it's been $3,200 off all G35 sedans.

Re: Incentives on '04s

That's exactly the deal I got in early March '04 at Pleasanton Infiniti (part of the Hendrick Automotive Group) - $3,200 off MSRP, which made mine $33,020 before taxes, registration, etc. - and this was exactly $50 under dealer invoice for my car!

Easy to work with, no pressure - just "here's the deal".

Sport Sedan Fan - 2004 6MT Sedan
Sport/Navigation/Premium/Aero
Obsidian Black/Graphite & "Titanium"
SHE'S SILVER & BLACK - GO RAIDERS!
