Door lock question - DID SEARCH

Quick question:

Is there a way to make the doors unlock when I turn off the engine/ignition with the stock intellikey system in my 06 Sedan?

thanks

PS - I did a search but the topic of "door lock" is too broad. my apologies and thanks in advance.

I think he's asking if there was a way to have the doors unlock as soon as the vehicle is turned off. My 300zx had an after market alarm that automatically unlocked the doors when the key was removed from the ignition.

I would also like to know this.

One vehicle i owned would automatically lock the doors when the shifter was taken out of park. Then it would unlock the doors when you turned the car off.

Yes i know i can hit the button.

thanks for the replies, you guys have the right idea of what my question was.

all my other cars had aftermarket alarm systems that did the unlock function after ign shutoff, but I dont think i'm going to add one to the G - at least not anytime soon.

Door Lock Question

I too would like to know if there is a way. I have not the time yet to find the alarm system box but I know that it is called active and passive locks. Or at least that is what most aftermarket alarms called it when I used to do MECP certified installing.

Was it part of a premium package?

No. There is no way of doing it unless you add an aftermarket alarm or some type of relay.

+1, it's not part of any package or option for any G35. Must be an alarm or KP Technologies lock/unlock module.

So how effective is KP's product? I have a lot of customer's complain about not having the lock/unlock feature on their car.
