Is it me or are the headlights aiming low?

I replaced my fogs with brighter bulbs to give me more visibility and they do... but the headlamps don't aim any further... So... HOW DO I ADJUST MY HEADLAMPS TO AIM FARTHER??!!! I have a 2004 G Sedan (non-sport)....

what makes you think that they are aimed incorrectly? Adjusting the aim further above DOT specs will result in glare for other drivers. Since you don't know how to aim them, then you obviously don't know what the correct aim is, so leave them alone.

Actually my HID's seemed aimed low as well. There have been times when i've been ona dark road alone and needed my highbeams because it seemed i couldn't see any more than 50 feet in front of me.

I'm not going to touch them, but my initial impression was they needed to be raised up a tad.

...that's what the highbeams are there for.

I'm going to agree with OP on this one. This is even more of a problem with a tinted windshield, however even before the tint I felt I couldn't see as far as I was used to.

the take pics of your light beams at night and people on here can tell you if they are aimed to low or just fine....redLude knows what he is talking about when it comes to headlight aiming since he has designed a whole DIY On aiming them...I have yet to work on my but he told me after I put up pics and a vid that it appeared my whole drivers side projector was rotated....anyways I would listen to What Redlude has to say!

What? You slump yourself down while driving to gain more visibility? What?

It seems like my headlights are aimed to meet at a point. I swear that the beams meet at about 75 feet in front of the car.

So what was your reference for them being "too low" I see no mention of meeting DOT specs for dropoff. Arbitrarily raising the headlights until you think they look high enough is a very good way to end up blinding other drivers with misaligned headlights.
