But congrats on the sale and GL with the new car search!
Me too. I love the way my G is now and to make it faster or more custom it would require an engine build + FI and big brake kit, double din, custom wheels, angel eyes, coupe seats, custom dual exhaust etc--(basically Ttrankville) and I don't want to commit the cash for all or part of those items. I may sell and get a C6 z51 npp 6spd vette or get the vette and keep the G as a daily. Not sure right now b/c I don't have a 3 car garage and don't know how to keep a car looking nice in the driveway with tomcats sleeping on the hood, sun damage, hail, kids footballs hitting it etc.......So I just don't know. It only has 47k mi and is spotless.......

how much did he give you? I'm wondering how much of an offer would make you drop your car without an alternate vehicle and just let it go like that.

PM me if you don't want to annouce it in public.

I actually got to see the 97 I sold recently. I wonder how many miles it has now. I was kind of sad when I sold it over a year ago.

exactly. For me to be competly in love with the car and want to keep it forever, I would need to step up to ttranks level. It would be such a fun build, but I would rather get into my dream car. I've found a local buyer for my car now so we'll see how it goes!

I use to have a 01 Tahoe and liked it. I have my eye on a 05 crew cab silverado

I've been thinking about it for a few months now, but when he offered, it was an easy out. It really wasn't the amount of money. I didn't want to have to go through the hassle of trying to find a buyer, listing on craigslit, autotrader, etc.

My father has a 95 camaro as a secondary car that I'll be driving until I get my new vehicle. He's a mechanic and has a few cars laying around as a "just in case" car.
