and you buy them from home depot.

paint the OEM, you will be pissed if you install them and get water in them

sorry to bring back an old thread....

but cant you just buy a HID kit and install them? i think the headlights run on H1 bulbs

im in search of new headlights b/c mine keep on yellowing

Yes you could, but it's not worth the whining and bitching that the "experts" here will give you for trying that.

I would keep them and do a projector mod.

BTW: Yellowing? I have had mine in the South Texas Sun for over 3 years now without a hint of yellowing?

not a good idea to use Aftermarket HID kids (let alone OEM) on a reflector housing that's made for halogen bulbs only. If you're calling us helping him avoid head aches in the future "whining and b!tching", then feel free to never ask for advice on the forum.
