Unhappy black headlights

i have 05 sedan and just bought black headlights and later realized that it will not work with my car because of the HID lighting system, is their any modification i can do to the headlights to make it work with my car, or should i just return the product?

I don't know what you can do, but I'd definitely go with a complete lack of light vs. HIDs! I hope you figure out how to swap 'em.

sounds like someone bought the cheapo "JDM" eBay lights. Get your money back if you can and mod your OEMs

Aren't those ebay headlights only for 03-04? Return that junk, and get your stock headlights painted instead.

they do fit, lol and their not from ebay but their still s***, the reason i dont want to open up my headlights is because i heard from several people that when you do, moisture can get inside and mess up the headlights

If they fit then your car isn't 05. eBay headlights only fit the 03/04. If the work is properly done, the headlights wont condensate. Have G35Papa do your headlights since your in SoCal, if he cant, I can do them for you, but you'd need to mail them to NYC.

Gbaby has an 05+ sedan.....i've seen his car.

I've only seen 03-04 "JDM black housing headlights" on ebay though.....so maybe someone's carrying them for the 05+ sedans now??

If you properly reseal your headlights.......there wouldnt be a problem at all with condensation. I vote for painting them also

If you mod your OEM headlights...there is no need to reseal the headlights after taking them apart. The same seal can be re-used. I've done numerous sets and not one has had any condensation what so ever. When you start mixing and matching parts (OEM with ebay lenses...etc) thats when you could run into a bad seal and using sealants is recommended.
