What color to paint my rims?

I just picked up a set of oem coupe 19's. Getting curb rash repaired on all 4 and have the option to go a different color. My car is Serengetti Sand and I can't think of any other color that would look nicer than the stock silver. Any suggestions before I make my final decision? Thanks!

black wheels on a tanish car always looked great. the colors flow very nicely. a lot better then a black on black car.

a gunmetal wouldn't look as hot.

I'm in your same boat. I recently picked up a second set of OEM 19" wheels/tires and I'm going to get them powdercoated. I want to do one set in a gunmetal color and the other in a silver color, as close to OEM as possible.

I would go black or a gunmetal colour. Some members even go for the time attack style with the red pinstripping along the edge, that looks sharp also.

I wish I had some photoshop skills to see how it would look. I love black and gunmetal, but I just didn't think it would look right on a tan car. Other nice colors like gold and bronze definitely would not match my car. Leaning toward factory silver at this point, but the time attack style with the red pinstripe sounds interesting. Might be a bit much for my taste though.

Wouldn't you want to paint the whole wheel and not just the rim?

Bronze.

But I recommend powder coat, not paint.

I dunno why, but I always considered the rim to be the entire wheel without the tire. When I hear "wheels" I think of the rim with the tire.
