I am about a week away from picking up my G35x. Good-Bye to the old Mustang. I love Mustangs, but I have a 1 Year old now and had to go for the sedan.... You know the story. Plus my ride to and from work is half curvey, hilly country roads and the Mustang sucks in bad weather, AWD is a must now!

Anyway... I am a little bummed that the hp and #tourque is goin up in the 05's. I'm not a pro so I'm not sure if I can feel 17 more horses alone, but with the 10# tourque boost it may make a difference. I plan to ask my dealer about the changes and see of they can do something to push to power up to the new 05 standard.

Does anyone have any idea what they did???

I spoke to someone who has a bit of knowledge about import motors. He said that the power increase could be as simple as a computer change.

It figures Infiniti changes specs after I commit to a 2004....
