^ That's not entirely true. Candlestickpark's G is a 05-06. G35Papa is working on one for his 03.

There are a few other sedans that have the emblemless grill from back when Randy (caskyline) was making them, not very many though. I pretty sure that I'm the only DIY emblemless grill though, Chris (G35Papa) will join the club soon.

Start by getting a spare grill and reviewing the DIY that Chris (bigc) and I did. Let me know if you've got any questions.

+1 read through the DIY. Its a great starting point. For the 03/04 grilles though, there are some added steps you will need to do before you start to lay the bondo down.

Not sure what the DIY says or how others do it says but I would epoxy something as a gap filler and finish with polyester putty and not mud, bondo, filler, etc. Polyester putty sands nice and easy and its easier to fill the tiny pin holes with. If you had a real filler you could would shape with it but I wouldnt finish with it.

Evercoat makes good polyester putty. Its like 15 for a squeeze jug and a hardener.

I thought Ed Lin was the 1st?

I have a spare grille and am going to do one too once I finish my new trunk and sidemarkers.

So I went back and looked, I am not crazy. Ed Lin got his grille done by Randy back in mid 2006 and posted a thread on it in October 2006. I think he was the first 03/04 sedan with one.
