So far I've found an '03 G35, manual, 51,xxx miles for $13,000. Appears to be stock.

I've also found an '04 G35, manual, 77,xxx miles for $13,000. It has CAI, Borla exhaust, tint on all windows, upgraded speakers.
Strange coincidence ... I drove an 04 G35, manual, 77,xxx miles for $13,000, CAI, Carbon fiber kit, Borla exhaust, tint on all windows, upgraded speakers at Brookdale Pontiac last friday. It looked like it was beat on pretty hard, drove nice though. The yellow handwritten numbers on the engine block and smell of burning oil really freaked me out.

lol its all good. But if he wasnt dead set on a 6mt, wayzata nissan has like, 05 autos for under 16k with low miles. That sounds like way better of a deal than an 03 with 51k.

If you can wait three years I might have a cherry 05 6MT sedan for sale with 68k miles for $12900. I'll give you first dibs

+1.....Let me add a couple more items to the list Mike...04.5 also has TPMS and standard heated seats.

unless you are buying an 04.5.....then the 03 and 04 are the same ****. I would just get the lower miles on the 03 and do your own mods. Don't like the mods entice you the 04 sounds like its in bad shape.

And be prepared to really hate the body on the stock 03-04 sedans. If you see some of the veterans on here......stock front bumper and unpainted sideskirts/rear valence do not exist in our world

Nice detective work! I'm in Woodbury. So the '04 smelled like burnt oil to you, huh? It smelled like raw fuel to me. But that went away after driving it for a bit. Yeah, based on what I'm reading here, I think I will stay away from it. The dealership also told me that someone offered $11k for the car and they were insulted. So there's not much haggle room. At least right now.

So I'm down to the '03 unless I want to go with automatic tranny. I suppose that wouldn't be too bad. The '05 does look pretty nice. We bought a '98 Maxima from that same place back in the day. Maybe they'll remember us?

You should check out Chris's for sale thread if you decide to go with a 5AT. That's one darn clean, well maintained sedan.

I'm going to pull the trigger on one of my two 05 prospects tomorrow. As far as I can tell both our excellent condition and value with clean histories. I'll let you know which one I don't get, which will probably be the local one.

Check around the local dealers as well. They occasionaly have good deals, then its certified with a warranty, ect.

Also check out the regional section of this forum. We have a MN chat thread with a fairly large base of members.

The standard warranties transfer when you buy from a private party, right?

Is the 03 and 03 or 03.5? You can tell if the trunk is smooth or has a handle to open it with on the outside.
