Factory paint is baked on. It doesn't have to sit out in the sun at all. It's ready to wax from the moment it rolls off the assembly line.
Now, if you have to have a part repainted by a body shop for any reason, they'll give you a time to wait before waxing... something like 6-8 weeks.
