My god, I come out from a great day at work, sunny and warm out and my car is shining its beautiful coat of wax over its silver finish. All of a sudden on the passenger side I see an indentation and its so noticeable, right on the gast tank door!!!!! There's a big dink on the gas tank door with a little paint missing like the gas pump hit it. MY GOD, I have no idea how it got there and im pissed, very minor to a few people prob but to me I get pissed easily especially when people at gas stations dont watch what their doing. Anyway, you think the dealer can fix it? Or can any body shop do it? Anyone in NY know where I can take it, I also have one more not so noticeable dent. Thanks, Martin

Your lucky if its on the gas tank filler door, you could probably just replace the door assembly. I don't think they come painted already from the factory, so it would be up to a body shop to match the paint.....

I would say if your going to get a ding or dent, thats the best spot to have it happen......I try to pump my own gas, the last infiniti I had the jerk pumping was too busy flappin his gums with some girl and hit the side of my car with the nozzle and put a small chip in the paint!.......I would have killed him right there on the spot, but he looked dead already......he just looked at me with this stupid puppy dog look and said "oh.............Man,...........I'm sooooo sooooorrrryy.

Look up Paintless Dent Removal. They usually do a pretty good job at taking out minor dents, similar to what you have described.
