I have been looking for a rebuild kit for the starter for a while. They have them for most Nissans but never found one for a G. I know the 4th gen Maximas starter has a rebuild kit but never had the time to check if the G had the same starter.

I looked for the kit before on infiniti-parts.com but they always sold the whole starter which was $300+. Now they sell the brushes and solenoid and everything else to rebuild it except the grease. I thought I would let people know.

Why don't you just buy a new one? I know they were cheap, I replaced one on my 4th Gen Maxima.

 

A hole new one is a lot and I would much rather put that money into something else on the car. I would much rather open it and change the brushes or whatever is worn out. I fixed a Maxima one before.
