Ghost in the machine

After the car is turned off, within 15-30 seconds, the doors will occasionally self lock. Any thoughts/ideas/theories/solutions?

I believe there is a way to set your door lock mechanism to do this by using your alarm remote. You can check in your owner's manual to see what the procedure is.
