I can't find the Bosch Icons for sale anywhere in Ontario; certainly not in any major chain auto parts store. I bought a set a few years ago in Pennsylvania and they were excellent.

If anybody knows where to buy Bosch Icons in the Toronto area please let me know.

^ try independent service centres that specialize in euro/JPN vehicles. bosch icons are great, i've had them on every vehicle of mine since the icons were introduced.

+1 on Bosch Icon wipers. They hug the windshield nicely, and i have no streaks at all after using them. 22,18 A for those with an 06x.

Save your money and get the cartridge refill from an auto parts store. Out here they will dry out in about a year and you will hardly use them. You can get the refills for less than $10 for both.

Good advice for the socal guys. Seems we only need them for a couple weeks out of the year and if the blades dry out in about a year, might as well get cheapo ones that will work fine for a couple weeks of rain.

After you replace your wipers apply RAIN-X the liquid. If you drive more than 40mph you will not need the wipers and if you drive on the highway definitely you will never use the wipers. I am using Rain-X for about 10 years and I put in all of my cars.

Yea i got the valeos on tirerack, i think it came out to be 25$-27 shipped after the buy one get one.

at first my driver's side still streaked, now they are better after the snow and being frozen. Overall i like them because they are one peice but the cheap-o anco will work just as good. I'll see if they end up lasting longer then 6 months like the cheap-o.

overall when they wear down i'll go try a pair of icons which are like $30ish

Sorry shoulda specified, Valeo 600s are what I got on ebay. Open frame design so maybe not the best for those in snow and ice climates, but great for me down in ATL. I don't usually think much of Consumer Reports when it comes to auto reviews, but they rated the 600s tops for quality and durability above Bosch and Rain-X (which also rated very well, however). Didn't see the 600s on Tire Rack but basically I don't think you can go wrong with any Bosch, Rain-X or Valeo blade.

I bought Trico Neoforms from Kragen and ran them for 2 days, They were junk! I ended up taking them back and getting Bosch Icons.

Just got the icons last night. Gunna put them on today. Of course when I was the G, it rains the next day out of no where, but putting on new wiper blades, it wont rain/snow for a month i bet. I should get a car wash to hedge my bet.

lol when yo wash your car try the wipers out. They are the best out there IMHO. I put them on a month ago and have had some serious winter weather and they have been more than great. Really perform well and one thing that I heard the valeo's do or other similar models is flap in the wind at high speeds. The Icons stay flush to the window and perform very well. I will be getting another set of these for my new car and every other car I own
