You are right. That was the salesman point. Now only if I can remember to do keep them clean...lol.

Does the Bosch Icon wipers fix the chattering problem? My wipers been chattering from day 1. Had dealers look at it and they can't replicate the problem (what a joke). Anyway, I've had PIAA Super Silicone wiper blades for probably two years now (still working really well) and they help to cure most of the chattering issue. I'll probably get them again unless Bosch Icon or any other wipers out there can also fix the chattering issue.

I understand that it is important to keep the dirt off, but using alcohol on anything rubber scares me. I'm not saying I don't believe you, I was just surprised to hear that it is the preferred cleaner. I wonder if other interior cleaners with UV inhibitors would work better.

Alcohol will dissipate fast and leaves no residue so I think it will be fine. Its not THAT strong compared to strong industrial type cleaners (ketones, etc...)
