What sucks about the upcoming spring time is the snow is melting and now we'll get some nice 50 degree days. So i'll go wash the car, get it looking nice and then go for a drive and there will be puddles everywhere since the snow is melting!

Ugh

AND THEN once all that clears up and heavy rains wash the salt away, i'll have to deal with a month of green tree sperm all over the car.

Black sucks.

Shoot me for being silly, but i think the looks of a stock unmolested G35 looks a hell of a lot cleaner than one with added stufff on it. Some guys do mods simple because "it's the thing to do" but i've seen some cars posted that just have too much done and look "ruined" to me. Granted that's my opinion, but i guess my tastes differ from a lot of other guys on here.

Texan's car is a perfect example to me. I wouldn't touch a thing
The more and more i see stock Gs running around, the more i like them. Im wierd i guess..

Hey wannabe, are you going to keep your 19s or sell them?
Im keeping them. love the wheels. And if i was going to sell them, id sell them back to the guy i bought them from.

I didnt have a problem driving the 08. I just prefer somthing i can call mine rather than my dads. Plus, i missed my HKS.

+1

My left front tire on my 17" wont hold air. It keeps slowly letting it out during the day.

Soapy water in a spray mister....start spraying it down and look for the leak. Check the valve stem too

I run my 17s in the winter as well and the ride is nicer and slightly quieter than the 18s I run, but when it comes to handling there's no comparion. My 235/45R18 PZero's offer far more grip than my Falken 215/55R17s. Now that I've painted my OEM 17s anthracite, I really like driving my car in the winter and don't care if and when it's dirty. I'm excited to put my 18s back on in about 5 weeks.

Couple things. i never realised how smooth and quiet my car is to drive, AFTER i remove my 19s. It doesnt rattle anymore, it isnt stiff and bumpy, the steering feels awesome, it doesnt sound like my wheel bearings are going out anymore when i stop. Just wierd.

I think i need brakes though. Because when i slowed down from some higher speeds, the car shook like the wheels were falling off, but yet, it was still smooth on the freeway.

Tires help! I drove in a snowy parking lot and it actually stopped and moved with my A/Ss.

But yea. i figure, im only going to have the car another 2-3 years, and each winter it will be driven, so 2 months it can handle. Im also going to hand wash it every week at the do it yourselfer.

But man, it feels good to be back behind the wheel of my own car.

You have no idea. I just sold my 2000 Mustang GT with a lot of modifications done to it, including full exhaust/suspension work so to get into this car is a complete dream. I was cruising on the highway and totally didn't realize I was going 85mph. Woops

Haha see, with the stang it was 5mt and really loud so when I was in 4th gear, if I heard the RPMs rising, I could guess about how fast I was going. With this car, it's just dead silent, I had to go on a 2 1/2 hour drive and not only almost fell asleep but was going way too fast without noticing lol. Good thing I have my radar

You think the 04s are quiet? HA. Go get a loaner from your dealer (2nd gen) and drive it on the freeway. That will make the 04 (and 05-06s for that matter) seem like old farm tractors.
