TPMS light came on. How do you know which sensor is broken?

I agree with most on the thread, the TPMS isn't set up for your car. Time to make a trip to the stealership and grab your ankles!

Can't tire chain stores do this service yet?

TPMS is federally mandated and i beleive it's set up to be standardized. You would think Sears or Pep Boys could program the transmitters to work with the car.

tpms problem

Does anyone know if there it a machine to buy that will indicate which tpms sensor is bad and making the ight come on? I was at Big 10 tires when a man checked my wheels with a hand held device to tell me which ones were good. If the price is not too high, i think it would be worth it to purchase your own as often as these things give you problems.It would save time at the shop for sure.
