Hello fellow G35driver members,

I am currently in the market to purchase a 2005 infiniti G35x.

I just needed your point of view on which color do you guys prefer? Bright silver or diamond graphite. It seems that 1/2 of G35 owner's chooses diamond graphite.

i believe it is brilliant silver not bright, but I think DG is more common and that's why more owners have chosen it, because the dealers stock more of them with different options, thus attracting more buyers.

 

Silver rocks. I've always had silver cars, if the left over G I bought was silver I would have been a happier man, but instead I have desert platinum (when did that become a color)

 

Both are nice but I like DG a little bit better.

 

I may be mistaken, but I believe dg was the replacement for bs in 06. I do not think you can get dg in and 05, only 06+.

 

I have a 2004 G35x - Diamond Graphite

So, did they just not offer dg in 05?

We had a DG 04 X. I dont care for the color at all.

I love Brilliant silver.

 

go with diamond graphite. I have an 05 g35x with DG.
I use to have a silver car and got very sick of that color after couple of years..

 

I would go with the color that you like the best.

 

I was looking at both colors when I was in the market of getting a car, but I ended up getting Diamond Graphite because I loved the way it looked. But it just comes down to personal preference.

diamond platinum is rep[lacement for diamond graphite... i beleive its a shade lighter

Seriously though, go with whatever color floats your boat.

 

Its actually called Platinum Graphite.

And yuck. After having DG, it was the most boring color ever..
