You can tell when you turn them on at night, from inside the car. It's very obvious compared to a standard halo bulb... LOL You've got to be pullin our leg here...

^^^ nope - no leg pullin'... I've never given one bit of attention to the color of my headlights or how bright/dim they are when I turn them on... but then again, I drive it only about 50-100 miles per month (sometimes less) for the last couple yrs (and mostly in the day)... I'll check 'em out if I think about it next time I'm in the car.

LOL then all I can think is that you do not have Xenon... they look very different from the other 95% of the cars on the road with standard Halogen lights.

You obviously don't have HID b/c if you did you would know exactly what wannabe was referring to on his description of the lovely blue on night-start-ups and that wannabe was referring to the light reflected off a white garage wall for example.

There is no such thing as a stupid question we all have to learn

in that case - either post 4 and 6 are inaccurate - or I just don’t pay attention to my headlights (which I've been saying for 4 posts).

you dont need to spend quality time to know if your car has HID lol or face your car into a wall all you gotta do is turn them on and look at the road rite in front of you if it lights up a night sky blue rite when u turn them on and then it slowly dims into white its HID, the slowly dimming into white is the only part that requires you to actually look at them for like a minute but you should notice rite when you turn on your car the light blue color, nighttime of course. even in the day you could see the difference

^^^ I must not have HID then, because I've never noticed blue... however where I live there’s so much ambient light there is no "lighting up the night sky"...

Anyway - mine is 04.5 (yes there was a change made mid-year)... so the couple posts that said 04 and newer have HID arent exactly correct... it might have been part of a package upgrade?

I've spent more time about headlight in the past week in this thread than I have in over 4 yrs

That's a dangerous offer on this board. Take a look at TGS's wheel thread: 15 pages of leg humping while she's trying to sell her wheels.

Careful, sir...

pulled into the garage today and turned headlight on & off 3 or 4 times... they start yellowish (against wall) and quickly turn white.

No blue that I can tell - I guess they aren’t HID... I forgot to look at them when the car was out to see if it has a wire at the tip or DR2 at bottom... too busy messing around with intake and ground wires - engine bay dress up project is driving me nuts... I'll look for the markings if I remember next time the car is out.

HA! We were talking about people that can't tell the difference between Halogen and Xenon lighting, but, you really took "club" thing and ran with it in your ol' imagination huh?

Few too many lonely nights OCG35? LOL

Nope, no HID for you... Do you have an auto adjusting review mirror?
