whats the story behind the 350 gt badge

After you've slapped the 350GT on there, be sure to go to the other side and stick a giant GT-R emblem on .... maybe even a V-Tech emblem as well.

The 350GT emblem is defenitely a modification that will perform well, adding atleast 45hp to any Nissan model, while also making the paint shinier. Aftermarket stickers such as AEM (etc.) are said to add even more but do not add any shininess to the paint.

to go along with this thread... the little red "GT" badge that i have seen behind some peoples front wheel wells seems kinda stupid... It originally appeared on turbo'd skylines... but 99% of the time people that pick them up off of ebay dont have turbo(s). its false advertising and youre asking for a whoopin
GT means grand touring or gran turismo and has nothing to do with a car being turbo. While I think it looks ghey, to each their own.

edit: I shouldn't even be saying anything as I drive a coupe but stickers as a performance mod? HA, it was just to good to pass up.

Arent there other models?
Overseas, can't you get a skyline with the 2.5L in it?? Also wasn't there one with the 3.0L?
SO there is the 250GT, the 300GT, the 350GT and the 350GT-8
Personally i'd just take off G35 and call it a day. Nobody really cares that the car is called a 350GT in Japan other than hardcore JDM wanna-bes and Japanese tourists.
If i put 350GT emblems on my G, then i guess i should put Camry emblems on my girl's IS250 too huh? Maybe i'll even spring for the Type S emblem!

your not making it, it already is...
to me its one of those things i would do if given free, or like a bunch of locals were doing it. I think emblems run about $30 which does not interest me at the level. maybe a $5-10 would. Why not leave the G35 off as well. Just because something was there in the first place doesn't mean it has to be there now.
i would of gone completely badgeless if the infiniti icon didn't have holes in them. I might paint it black tho.

I think most people rebadge to link up to the Skyline racing heritage that goes back to 1969? And, since it's a Skyline everywhere else anyway.
And, rebadging them as Infiniti is a marketing ploy.....
I purchased my G's because they ARE Nissans and because I had owned Nissans in the past and wanted a RWD Nissan sedan and coupe with rear seats.
The more rebadged cars I see, the more I want to do mine.
Would I care if the interior still said Infiniti??? No, but that's just my opinion.
