CD repeat function

I was just playing with the "repeat" function on my CD and I've noticed that once you press the "repeat" key you have a lot of options (1 CD repeat, 1 track repeat, etc) by pressing the same button repeatedly. However, I haven't found any elegant way to stop the repeat (there's no "off" function" in all those choices). I have to move to a new CD for the repeat to stop (well, power off will do it too !).

Has anyone found a better way to turn off the repeat function ?

Re: CD repeat function

I just played with my repeat function and it seems to me you have to push and hold for 2-3 seconds to make a repeat selection otherwise it reverts back to no repeats. Too bad the O/M doesn't shed any light on it....... Give it a try.

Re: CD repeat function

I will add a question to this thread...

I seem to be having difficulty figuring out how to select a different disc to play. How do you pick which CD to play?

Re: CD repeat function

Push one of the buttons marked "1" through "6" on the deck.

I assume you're referring to the steering wheel controls.. hold the "next track" button down for 2-3 seconds or so.

Re: CD repeat function

No, it didn't work.

When I use the "RPT" function, the options (1 CD, 1 TR, 1 CD random, etc) start blinking and changing with every push of the button and once I stop pressing the button the current blinking selection engages after a few seconds. I couldn't find a way to cancel those options once they're turned on. Unbelievable ! And the O/M doesn't say a word about it .... Too bad because I like the audio system a lot ....
