Are these bumps normal?

So I'm about to buy and install my clear corners and I noticed riverside has two different types. One is the newer "bump" style which has a bump on it, and the other without the bump.

I was wondering which style you all think looks better, and if I could get a picture of cars that have the two different styles.

I changed to the bump style and installed 30 LEDs in each one to try and help other cars notice my turn signals a little more. May just be peace of mind...

did you have to wire in resistors to get the leds to blink?
