Why, why, why?!!! I hate huge gaps!!!
Who cares if it does that when you're turning into a space...did someone laugh out loud & point at your car "oh my god, did you see how much gap was in his fender when he just turned"?
It is your suspension working....kind of like when you park your car on an uneven surface where the weight distribution on the 4 corners adjusts and the suspension adjusts accordingly. Like they said, the only way to "fix" this is to slam your car low enough that there won't be much more room for suspension travel.
I don't know if I'd call it physics...more like dynamics & the effects of gravity and your suspension components.
Does that make sense?

Semantics really. What's it's called is not really the point of the thread.
I don't really know what the point is
My apologies but WTF?
1) Please draw/take a picture of this crazy corner parking gap or rephrase the question so that it makes more sense.
2) Please explain how you are witnessing this crazy corner parking gap phenomenon while driving and, presumably, parking.

As ridiculous as this thread is some of these responses make it worth reading
this is funny lol the only thing i could say is whe n u drive into the parking and you drive up from street that is higher it goes down and then up again in parking, so when you take your car sideways into parking your left side of the car pops out and leaves tire on road that makes some gap but goes down again after you enter the parking ( just look in your side mirror)
damn my english sucks why am i even bothering explaying it no one will understand anyways lol

Why is it that when I turn into a parking space or anywhere in this case... my rear fender seems to lift off the tire and give it a huge gap look... then it goes back to normal when I'm parked or in a straightaway (that bothers the heck out of me) Any suggestions or thoughts?

if this guy is not a troll or joking around ... then he is quite possibly the biggest tool i have come across on the internet.

..here's an idea.. just weld your suspension in place.
damn, leave Gdriver for a few hours and look what gets missed. all the good rips have already been leveled at the OP. most hillarious question ever - in a laughing AT you way. i've read the question a few times and still don't know what the heck he's talking about. what kind of schooling is provided in NoCal? some great replies so far...
