I've been looking around online and there are several places with OEM aluminum pedals for the 5AT. Some sites say that they are not compatible with the 06 Sedan and other say they are. Are there different kinds of OEM pedals out there? If not, do the pedals work with the 06 Sedan or not?

These will be compatible with your 2006 G35 Sedan. Since you're automatic, but sure to select the "5AT" option. This means they will ship a "clutch" from a manual car which can be applied over your e-brake pedal so you have a more complete look... instead of three aluminum pedals and a black rubber e-brake. To install the e-brake pedal, you'll have to remove the rubber cover of the e-brake and glue the "clutch" pedal to the e-brake with a strong two-part epoxy glue. Sometimes it may not hold, so you'll have to re-apply the glue until you can get it perfect and it stays on.

No need to remove the rubber cover over the e-brake. The aluminum clutch pedal fits nicely over the e-brake rubber cover. Clean the rubber cover well with rubbing alcohol. Apply a blob of GOOP or contact cement on the rubber cover and slip the clutch pedal on. Let it dry over night.
Aluminum pedals are one of the best interior mods.
White LED interior lights are next.
Then dark wood trims to cover up the bright glaring aluminum dash parts.

5 minutes. worth it. +1 on clutch->brake on 5AT (i used gorilla glue, worked perfectly).

 

That picture is interesting because my pedals (came from the Z), don't have the throttle stopper as shown in the picture. My orginial pedals did have the stopper. With the Z pedals, I've got about an extra 1" of travel without the stopper. I've been running this setup for about 3.5 years and the throttle control has never complained about the additional travel, but I've always wondered if it would be a better idea to install some sort of stopper. I'm jsut rambling

 

As for the e-brake, mine's bolted on. I simply took a bolt through the middle hole on pedal cover and pedal and put a nut on the backside.

 

Does not having that stopper make the car faster??
