I am new to this awesome Infiniti thing + having something that isn't 4 cylinders & boosted. I'm lookin to drop the ride and without losing comfort but having the tipy top of the tire meet the wheel well (slammed look)

On another note, my 35 sounds awesome stock but I'm lookin for somethin to let me know that what it is. I had a 3rd Gen Eclipse boosted to about 20 with a 3.5'' apxi N1 catback down pipe & the grapefruit cannon muffler. The sound of that car was monstrous!! I need some input for a Infiniti owner!!!!DOMO

 

If you really wanna slam it, coilovers, I have H&R because you can't get coilovers on the X that I know of yet. It is a awesome drop, with a great ride!
Exhaust, most people put the HKS rear section on the sedan, it sounds sooooooo good, I love it! If your sedan is 04 or under, you will want a newer sedan or coupe midpipe to make more of a difference. There is a thread that has sound clips of all kinds of exhaust combonations on sedans, just do a search.

 

i second that, the hks is off the hook. me personally id rock a bigger mid pipe and keep stock cuz i dont want it tooo loud

i had the HKS on for a while and then I needed a bigger piping after I went turbo.




the Borla sounds great as well, which is a full cat-back system.
I had it on w/ test pipes and it still sounded very resonated

I have stillen gen2 exhaust on my G35x. Sounds good.

 

Grab a plenum spacer, an 05/06 airbox+Drop in filter, and a Z-tube before you do any aftermarket exhaust modding. Those 3 mods really bring out the exhaust note.

My next mod is an 05/06 midpipe or a coupe midpipe + MotorDyne's XYZ pipe. Can't wait *drool*

You are correct sir. that is NOT my caR and in no way shape or for did I say it was. READ THE POST. I am NEW (READ THE POST) AND I TRYED TO ADD A PIC. Is it wrong that I posted a picture of a car that i liked? THAT IS IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM MY RIDE. IF YOU WANT TO SEE MY RIDE HERE YOU GO....

On another note, thank you guys for all the posts, its been very helpful. I think I what I am going to end up doing is trading a turbonetiks T3 turbo(with down pipe oil and fuel hoses) to my friend with a VW mkg 3. It fits his car and was on a jetta before... and in return I will be getting a full catback exhaust as well as a set of H&R springs. He is a wrench at a dealership so it will all be installed for free.... he said the drop would be perfect for what I am looking for.

is it worth the trade... it is in my mind?

Yeah, dual 3" with dual mufflers is an option.

 

Actually the name is FlyingLumpia. Second you never said it was a car that you like. So when you say you are new and then post a pic, people would assume that is your car. So next time get you post straight and we would not be having this discussion.

But do give you a thumbs up on your ride. Also is your ride an X, if not I would also suggest in getting some aftermarket shocks/struts.
