Will bring it in, when I turn left there is some noise coming from the right
rear where the bearing was changed, if he can't fix it I guess its off to the
dealer, this thing is becoming a nightmare. I don't love her anymore....

My local guy had the car up on the lift, and he asked me to listen
through a steel pipe to the differential and I heard some knocking sounds
but he said it could be a bearing that is resinating to the differential. Now
I'm worried, he said the differential is really big bucks, stealership here I come.

If it's a differential, you can always look for a "pumpkin swap" in the marketplace. It's basically the differential in the housing... should be a bolt on swap affair.

on a side note, it's time for me to replace the DS rear wheel bearing. :S

good luck!

it's VERY easy to say that you'd make him fix the effup. especially from our very removed POV. i'd say eat the 60 and invest in the halfshaft.

I had it re-replaced at the same shop thinking the shaft was bad, but the replacement acted the same.

I asked a few other mechanics about it, and they thought that perhaps the new shaft's torque specs weren't up to spec, causing it to flex a little more than normal.

next time look around more. there are multiple places to find them, i did two on my friends maximas, never had an issue.

Got it to the dealer, and he said it was the left side bearing, plus there is noise in the differentiel bearings but he suggested just to change the bearing
and see how it goes, while driving the car home I heard nothing so everything
seems alright. But he mentioned that the right front is on the way out, so will
keep an eye on it and as far as the differentiel goes will leave as is until something has to be done. So out about 600$ but I have 2 new bearings..
and might tacke the front one myself...
