I've considered painting my grill black too, but it wouldn't go with my current theme. What else is black/dark on your car (headlights, tinted tails, etc.?). I would definitely go with black over LS.

Only the lower grille are black. Nothing else is black or dark. Maybe I will just repaint it 'chrome' or 'aluminum' liked the interior trim.

Finally got the time to repaint the grille. Went with the midnight grille style. Top and bottom in aluminum and mid section in Lakeshore Slate body color.

The aluminum was a mistake (grap the wrong spray) so I may redo it in chrome. Or repaint the whole grille in one color.

What do you think?

Wow, looks surprisingly good. I wouldn't have thought a two-tone would look good, but that does. Nice job.

No on the color match grill. Black or leave it alone.

`I would paint the grill black and leave the Infiniti Symbol chrome only. IMO

Have you debadge your car in the back? I would take off the Infiniti and G35 on the rear of your car.

If it was like the option on the new sedan, that would look good.

I've got an IP, im planning on painting the grill flat black to match the lower grille and the trim between doors. Im also leaving the infiniti symbol chrome.. i could always change it later..also getting my roof blacked out.. and i've got tints and overlays.. so the whole white/black theme should work out nice

I kinda like the "aluminum" look!! Redo the Fuji to the same and I think we've got ourselves a WINNAR!

Hey, thank you all for your feedback. It is definitely unique but I am still not sure if it is good or bad. I am going to let it "sit" for a few weeks before deciding if I am going to keep it or not.

If redoing, I will definitely go with a flat black to match the lower grille.
